Kristin and Hans were fantastic! They were always very honest about what they thought about a house, the pros and the cons, whether it fit our needs, and were very accurate in predicting the price it would go for. We got our first written offer accepted and it's a wonderful house in a very tight market. They are very knowledgeable and very transparent, and we never felt pressure but great support along the way. We worked with Hans and Kristin to find a place in Alameda. They were great to work with as individuals. Fantastic to work with as a team. They each had different perspectives that were valuable and nuanced, and this helped us develop a fuller picture of the houses we viewed. We really came to value their insights into the potential, or lack thereof, of the properties we looked at. We bought a place that we are really stoked about. I wasn't excited about it at first though my partner was. Hans and Kristin helped me to see the potential in what I was looking at, and understand the space beyond my first impression. I used the Gunderman Group to sell my condo recently and it was a terrific experience. I have been a real estate investor for 25+ years and I learned so much from David Gunderman in the 30 minutes I spent with him, it's remarkable. David shared strategies, ideas, and tips that I had never heard before. Honestly, it was kind of life changing (for a real estate investor). His team, including Hans who was our main contact, was also always professional and knew their stuff down cold. Hans was kind, responsive, and expert. Don't expect to speak to David very often, though his name is on the team. He's extremely in-demand. Don't be disappointed, though, since his team is incredibly good. You'll be taken care of, no worries. The key things the Gunderman Group brings is 1) Staging and 2) Pricing. They know how to market a property in relation to what's out there and make sure it stands out. Our property went on the market on Thursday and we had an offer Friday afternoon for 8% above asking price. We were blown away, especially in this challenging time for real estate. Hans and Kristin are absolutely fantastic!  I had a very difficult estate situation to settle with more than the usual challenges.  I was also out of state the whole time managing from afar and entrusted all of the real estate matters to Hans and Kristin.  I couldn’t have asked for a better team, they took care of everything!  Excellent communication from beginning to end.  I was always informed and they guided me through the process patiently and professionally. Imagine two Olympic athletes selling your home. You'd expect dedicated, hard - working people, wouldn't you? That's exactly what we got and more when we hired Hans and Kristin Struzyna of the Gunderman group to sell our townhome in Alameda. Hans and Kristin rowed for team USA.  We did this crazy thing of retiring, buying a new home (in NC) and selling our Alameda home at the same time. Hans and Kristin did exactly what we had hoped they would -relieved us of the stress and burden of selling our home and prepped it to maximize the sale and all for a very reasonable price. Hans and Kristin Struzyna (and their entire team - shout out to our Project Director Suzanne!) are exceptional in every way. We worked with them on the purchase of our new home in Alameda and the sale of our first home in Oakland. Throughout the buying and selling process, they have been patient, responsive, and thoughtful. They have also demonstrated incredible acumen in their field, skillfully guiding us through negotiations related to numerous offers and counteroffers. My husband and I are both lawyers, and we have relatively high expectations of the people we work with, particularly when the stakes are high.
